These are just some fun pictures we took today. I wanted some pictures of Kota at 18 months (but can't afford professional right now). So I dressed her up and we went in the hay field behind our house and had fun. Braden was a big help making her smile and playful. They are by no means professional pictures, but super cute (I think). I might try for a few good ones of Braden in the hay field in his cowboy stuff. Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I did. :)

The Christmas Season

This weekend was awesome and so needed. Saturday morning we went to Helper and had breakfast with Santa. Kota obviously wasn't diggin it but Braden has always loved Santa. They both got a bag full of candy and Braden almost finished his by the time we got home LOL Then we made sugar cookies with cutouts and decorated them with colored frosting. They were both big helpers, although Kota took a fall off the bar stool :( But with a few loves and kisses she was good to go. Then me and the kids decorated the house and put the Christmas tree, all while listening to Christmas music...my favorite thing to do this time of year. Next we had a quick dinner and went to the light parade. It was FREEZING cold but so fun. The kids loved all the floats and got tonz more candy. When it was over we had parked in the perfect spot so we turned on the heater, a radio station playing christmas music and enjoyed the fireworks. When we got home we watched The Santa Clause 2, also one of my favorites.

I always used to love the holidays when I was little, especially while my little brother and sister believed in Santa. But making traditions and having fun during the holidays with my own kiddos is so special and I am loving every minute of it. Saturday we didn't turn the TV on once, until that night with the movie of course. We had so much fun making a mess with cookies, wrestling, running, dancing, decorating, and freezing out butts off. Sunday we spent the whole day together too and such a great weekend for Mom :) Not that I didn't appreciate my kids before, but working more has definitely taken my want and appreciation for spending time with my kids to whole new level. I look forward to my time with them and soak them up during our lazy days. So far the Christmas season is awesome at our house!!! Merry Christmas everyone....hope you're having fun too.

Thanksgiving and Holly Days

Thanksgiving was way fun and super crazy. We left Wednesday night and spent the night at my Dad and Tammi's. Thanksgiving was great especially because I got to see my grandparents, Aunt Pam, and my little bro Deric. Dinner was AWESOME and then we played horse shoes in the back, which was hilarious! Later that night we went and saw Arthur Christmas, which Braden loved. Kota however was a terror at the theater and would not hold still....still too young. Friday morning, bright and early I might add, we left for Vernal to spend the day with Bryan and Cassi at Holly Days. It was way fun!!!! Me, Cass, and Jolynn played Minute to Win It LOL it was a good time. We played a bunch of games and rode the train. Everything was free. They had a great parade and then inflatables in the indoor arena. By the time we left that night we were all exhausted but had a great time. I hope everyone else had a great holiday weekend. Happy Thanksgiving....now on to Christmas :)

Kota's Surgery

Today we took Dakota to Primary Children's to have her reflux repaired. Her last UTI she started spiking fevers over 100 so her urologist and the surgeon said we needed to fix it. We got there at 645am this morning and registered. We sat in the waiting room for a bit while Kota played with the toys that are all over for the kids. They called us back and checked her vitals, did a full exam, we changed her into her gown, and talked to the surgeon. Dr. Oottamasathien came in and said he looked at her VCUG and nuclear studies and found grade 1 reflux on the left side no one had noticed, she was originally diagnosed with grade 3 reflux on the right side. Anyway he suggested we repair both sides and we agreed. We then met with the anesthesiologist, the nurse, and a child life specialist who were all in the OR with her. The anesthesiologist walked her with the little car to the OR LOL made me feel a little better.

I wasn't nervous about the procedure, just about the anesthesia. They didn't have to make any incisions. He went up with a cystoscope through her urethra and injected a substance called deflux next to the opening of the ureters. He used 0.5cc on the left and 1.7cc on the right to close them. He had to do a little caudery on the right side to slow bleeding at the injection site but she did really well and the whole thing took about an hour. While me and Ty were in the waiting room they had coffee, hot chocolate, juice, donuts, muffins, and other snacks for us while we waited. When they were finished we had a consultation with the surgeon where he told us about the procedure and showed us pictures and tonz of other information.

Right after I went back to be with her in the PACU when she woke up. It was so cute as soon as she saw me she sat up and wanted me to hold her. Shortly after that she started thrashing and screaming and was not liking coming out of general anesthesia. When she was very awake they took us to post-op recovery where Ty got to come in. It took like 45 minutes of thrashing before she calmed down. There were times I had to put her in the crib because I thought I was going to drop her. It was super sad. Daddy was finally able to calm her down and she enjoyed several purple popsicles. The IV, pulse ox, and id band came off quickly because she HATED them. That helped a lot. They gave her Lortab and when that kicked in she looked drugged LOL and was super relaxed. It was better than the screaming and crying, too sad for me.

Anyway, she did awesome overall and we follow up in 4-6 weeks to be sure she's still doing well. The only thing is possible bladder spasms for the next few weeks. They are super painful and so we have some medication for her if that happens. While this fixes the reflux for now, when she starts potty training if we don't stay on our game, the reflux can come back. When she learns to hold her pee the pressure changes in the bladder and can cause problems for her. We have to take her to the bathroom every 2 hrs and she cannot be allowed to hold it longer than that for a while. We can't let her get constipated because that can also cause issues for her reflux. So pretty much we will be keeping an eye on her for a while but either way for now she has no reflux and that's a relief.

A long day, but worth it. And Braden had an awesome day with Grandma Angela and Uncle Jaxson. And I can say it's a blessing having such an awesome facility so close to home. They make it much easier on her and us.

Pumpkins & Spooktacular

We carved pumpkins for Halloween the other night when Ty got home, Braden was super excited. Kota was just happy to be on the table LOL She also had a good time grabbing seeds out of the pumpkins. Braden had carved a pumpkin with Papa Steve with angry eyes so he wanted a "happy pumpkin" so he chose a smiling ghost. I chose Kota's, simple :)

Today, Saturday, we went to the main street Spooktacular. The kids had fun. Braden LOVES his Spiderman costume. It takes an act of congress to get it off of him (Thanks Grandma Nyla ;) So he pretty much wore his mask for almost the whole time. He took it off to eat and then decided he wanted his costume off completely. I put Kota in the costume contest, I thought she was adorable of course :) She is mama/nurse. I got lots of compliments on her costume. Braden didn't want to walk across the stage so he didn't do the contest this year. Hayden, Drayke, and Shiloh came over and hung out with us for a bit. The boys have a lot of fun together :) On the way home both kiddos zonked, I'm pretty sure Dakota didn't make it out of the parking lot. I can't wait for Monday to take them trick or treating, So much fun!!!

Fun with my Bell Bell

This week we've been able to have my niece Izabella, aka Bell Bell, stay with us. She is my little brother's daughter. She is 3 months older than Braden and they are little buddies. They played so good together and Braden insisted on making her bed in his room and then he had to sleep next to her :) We would take Braden to preschool and when we picked him up he would run out and say "where's my cousin?" "where's my bell bell?" so cute. The first few nights they were exhausted from playing and zonked at like 7 o'clock LOL We went for a horse ride on Minnie, Braden's horse, which Bella LOVED. We went to the homecoming parade on Friday and Braden was content with a few pieces of candy but Bella kept yelling at the floats "hey throw candy, I like candy!" Everyone around us was laughing. We also went to the football game that night with Papa Steve and Grandma Tammi and the kids had a blast. They caught a bunch of little foam footballs and ran around having a good time. Saturday we played with Braden's cousins for a while, and went to the Bullaween in Spanish Fork that night. We dressed the kids up for it, since there's a costume contest. Braden was "Maverick" off Top Gun, Bella wanted to be a princess (we made her a warm princess), and Kota was me....a nurse :) They ran around the entire time and all got little treats for participating in the contest. Bella was fascinated with the bulls, since she isn't around them all the time. At the end my dad, Papa Steve, was doing magic tricks for the kids LOL overall a very busy, very fun week. We miss you already Bella Boo. Braden asked for you for the entire day today :) Thanks for coming and visiting us!!!!! Love you!

Decorating for Halloween

Halloween is just about my favorite holiday! I have never had a bunch of decorations, just some here and there because they are so expensive. Well yesterday I decided we were going to Dollar Tree to see what they had. I ended up getting TONZ of stuff! I loved every minute of decorating our house. We even put a little bit on the kids' bedroom doors. Braden got to decorate his walls by himself wit Halloween stickers and he thought that was pretty awesome. The centerpiece to the table has the spider and bat rings scattered through it and Braden, at least 3 times a day, gets up on the table and puts a bunch of them on and has me take a picture LOL We also made Halloween cookies that I got from Wal-Mart. I LOVE being festive and LOVE the holiday season. I do some for me but mostly for my kids because my mom was always very festive when I was growing up and I loved that it always felt like each holiday at home....thanks mom :) So I want to do that for my kids!!!So Boo on cold weather but hooray for the Holidays!!!!!!! HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE

Domestic Violence 5K

This year I've run a few local 5Ks. The most recent, October 1st, I ran pushing both my kids in my jogging stroller. My hubby was out of town and so they came along. While my time was obviously slower, it wasn't too bad. The worst part was I forgot my bands for my knees and that hurt pretty good, but all in all, tonz of fun. My buddy, Kourtney, signed me up with her. She took 2nd and I took 3rd in our age group, 20-29...not too bad LOL The whole time Braden kept saying "run faster mom, it's a race!" He was so serious about it :) There was at least 3 other people pushing kids in jogging strollers, but I was the only one crazy enough to push two; although I'm positive I'm not the first or last to do so. Yay for Carbon Rec and Local 5Ks....I hope they keep having more and more because I LOVE them!

Noyes Family Trip 2011

Went to Lagoon for our annual trip with Ty's family. We took his parents' old camp trailer and the kids loved it. Braden thought the trailer was the coolest thing ever LOL We spent Saturday riding the rides and pretty much watching the kids have a blast. I'm pretty sure none of the adults rode a big ride until after dinner and even then we only hit like 3. I've decided I have just as much fun, if not more, watching my kids have fun. Kota isn't real sure about the faster rides, like Puff, but she likes most of the kiddie rides. Braden, of course, is fearless and it's a good thing because he is now 42" tall and can ride tonz of the rides. I'm pretty sure by next year he will be tall enough to ride the adult rides and he will be barely 4! That's my boy ;) What a great trip!

Yes...tonz of pictures LOL Kota in the cute ruffle outfit is from the baby contest at the Fair. she won best dressed :) of course. She also wore that outfit for her 1 year pictures. Braden started Preschool and I have a few pictures of his first day, my baby is so big :( Then there are a couple pics of Braden riding bikes with his Daddy. I had Kota in the jogging stroller while the boys rode bikes. It was nice family time. Kiwanis had a kids days with free food, games, and the blow up bouncers at the park. The kids had a blast, especially Braden. Then a couple pics of the kids chillin in their jammies, Braden and Ty reading for school and Kota checkin them out :) Overall, things are going pretty good!

Weekend of Family Fun

So both my kiddos got the stomach flu somethin fierce earlier in the week. Between throwing up, diarrhea, crying, no sleeping, blah blah blah it was a rough week. They seemed to feel a bit better so we took them to the movie in the park Friday night. It was craziness with both of them running around and not actually watching the show LOL But me and Ty did enjoy the second half after they fell asleep ;) Saturday I ran the International Days 5K and then we took the kids to the parade. Braden was still super grouchy and most of it was a bust, but he did have fun grabbing candy. Afterward we ran to the park for some lunch and home for naptime. Sunday we saddled up the horses and took the kiddos for a short ride in our neighbor's pasture (don't mind the foggy pictures I didn't realize my screen was dirty until I had already taken a few pics). They both loved it :) It was great having family time!

My little bro, Jaxson, came and stayed with us for a few days and Braden loved having a buddy. They are only 8 months apart :) and had a blast together. We went for a bike ride every morning, played in the mud, played baseball in the backyard, sleepover fun in the living room, and all sorts of fun stuff. It was a fun couple of days :)

So I know I'm biased but I have the most beautiful kids!!! Both of my kids, in my opinion ;), are super photogenic. Kota was a breeze with pictures. She smiled and played and didn't cry once. We did three outfit changes and a hairstyle change and she was still happy. My FAVORITE picture is the close up of her in the white dress with the flower in her hair...it's going up in our room as a 10x13 next to Braden's 6 month 10x13 LOL It's my personal omage to my kids :) Anyway I LOVE them, Kiddie Kandids did a good job. I can't wait for this summer when we do her 1 year, Braden's 3 year and our new family picture!!!! It's gonna be great :)

My Dad's 50th Birthday

We went to St. George for my Dad's 50th. My stepmom threw him a surprise party and it was a blast. She also flew in my sis and her kiddos from Georgia. It was so much fun to have everyone together and enjoy the awesome weather!! Happy 50th Pops :)

We got these pictures taken when we went upstate for a farewell luncheon for my stepbrother who is in the MTC waiting to go on his mission :) We were gonna do pictures outside but it was super cold so my Stepmom, Tammi, suggested we just go over to Kiddi kandids. I think they turned out super cute, we wanted pictures of all the grandkids together which is really hard to do with everyone's busy schedule and Jess living in Georgia. It worked out great and I got some awesome new pics of Kota for her 6 month pics and great pics of my handsome Braden :) We totally copied the outfits from my sister's in-laws but aren't they adorable...hooray for new pictures :) I'm a picture finatic LOL

Christmas Cake and The Light Parade

Today Braden wanted to make a cake so I thought we should make it a christmas cake since we spent the afternoon putting up christmas decorations. It was fun and loved dipping the mixers into the batter :) We mixed the frosting with green and red food coloring. I dumped tonz of red in and it still turned out more like dark pink, oh well LOL Then we went to the light parade and met up with some friends. Braden loved it and Kota slept :) We had awesome hot chocolate and lots of fun. Came home and Braden was wound up but finally crashed on his daddy's legs :) Now I'm getting excited for Christmas!

Thanksgiving 2010

We had Thanksgiving with Ty's family this year. We had lots of fun and Braden had a blast playing with his cousins. When we did a little cake and song for Hayden's birthday Braden proceded to scrape large amounts of frosting off and so the other kids did the same LOL it was demolished when they were finished :) When we got home Braden zonked and slept all night...woohoo. It was a great holiday :) Hope everyone had a good time too.

Halloween 2010

Halloween this year was fun. First we went to the Main Street Halloween Spooktacular the weekend before. Braden had a blast playing all the games, eating candy, and getting his face painted. Of course his favorite part was the train ride :) Kota wasn't a big fan being the stoller all afternoon LOL

For Halloween we started at Ty's parents house and then went to the Main Street trick or treat. All the stores were letting kids come in and trick or treat for candy :) We didn't do this very long and it started raining pretty hard so we finished and went to visit Ty's grandma. The rain let up so we met up with friends and family and went trick or treating behind the hospital (because we don't have a neighborhood where we live). It was super fun watching Braden go up and ask for candy :) My nephew (who is Braden's age) kept walking into everyone's house LOL it was awesome. But it was way cold and when Braden had enough he started saying "go home, take a nap" so we called her quits and went and had pizza at Grandma's house.

Kota looked super cute as Minnie Mouse with the outfit my mom bought her and my homemade ears :) Braden was a race car driver, hand me down costume from Uncle Jaxson, but he had to wear his cowboy hat and boots so I guess he was a cowboy race car driver LOL I can't wait 'til next year when we have two kids who are asking for candy...twice the fun:) I hope everyone had a great Halloween too.

Kota's Blessing Dress

We blessed Dakota this last Sunday and needless to say I went all out on the dress. I found it at the quilted bear, I was shopping for something else and when I saw it I teared up and I knew I had to have it...I didn't even feel that way about my wedding dress :) Braden had an awesome white Tux for his blessing but it was a hand me down, Mav used it then Jaxson and finally Braden :) So hey why not spend a wod on Kota's dress when Braden's was free right? ;)

It went awesome! my stepdad blessed her and did a great job! (Thanks Dean). And my fam came, except my Yesser :(, and some awesome family friends ;) We had a great lunch and visited afterward at the house. It was a beautiful day and we had so much fun!

Update

So just wanted to update a bit. Dakota is 15 weeks old today and becoming super fun. She has started laughing every once in a while and even rolled over from her belly to her back. She only did it the once LOL I think she forgot how she did it. Lately she has been drooling like crazy and chewing on her arms LOL it's so cute. She loves to watch her brother and smiles and coos at hime all the time. And we call her Kota bug and Braden corrects me if I call her anything else. And I have fallen into the little girl trap of matching bows, flowers, outfits, shoes, etc. I'm loving it :)

Braden has had a rough terrible 2's so far :) But we are learning slowly the best way to work with him. He LOVES his daddy and when Ty is home I'm not allowed to do anything for Braden, "Daddy doot" (translated into Daddy do it). We started potty training him a couple days ago and he is do surprisingly well. I expected more resistance but he is really catching on. The first day was rough but he is doing better and better everyday and he has woken up dry every morning..Yay for my big boy!!! And tonight when I went to put on a diaper for bedtime he refused...wish us luck he has had a diaper only for naptime and bedtime but that may have already changed :) Each time he pees in the potty we have to call Daddy at work and tell him the good news :) It's so stinkin' cute!

I'm back to work and really enjoy it :) it's a short shift and only twice a week but it's a release and a change of pace a bit from being a busy mommy. And I love it cause they are home with Daddy ") And I'm halfway through fall semester still working on my BSN. I am taking my time cause I had Braden the first semester I started and then we just got our little Kota. But hey only 3 semesters left with one class a semester (the classes are only available during certain semesters). Then it's a break, not sure how long, and off to my getting my Nurse Practitioner. will school ever end? LOL

Bullriding season is finally coming to an end and I LOVE it. My hubby is home more and not near as busy. that's my favorite thing about fall and winter is having him around more...I hate the cold and short days but it's worth it being able to spend more time with him. And hooray for the holidays!! yes they're expensive but I love celebrating them and spending time with family. And the older my kids get, the more festive I get :)

Dakota 3 Months

Mt. Timpanogos Hike

My friend (Ailese) and I and our kids, and her mom, went hiking up Mt. Timpanogos. I love to hike and was excited at the challenge of packing my kids up LOL I know I'm crazy. However, I struggled (is an understatement) with the cliffs that were right next to the path. The last switchback at the top I had to have a ranger walk next to me or I wouldn't of made it...those cliffs are RANK!! I ended up packing Braden about 97% of the way. I brought a leash and it's a good thing cause when he was walking he would walk over to the edge and check it out and try to chase bugs and chipmunks. I'm pretty sure he would've ran right off the edge without it. Once we got into the cave I thought I would be clostraphobic but it wasn't bad. But apparently the combination of the dark and being past nap time was not good for Braden because about 100 feet in he started freaking out and didn't stop until we got out. So I pretty much dragged him kicking and screaming through the cave. Ailese tried to carry him some of the way but a bunch of the walk ways were pretty narrow and neither one of us could carry him.

On the way down he fell asleep on my back several times and kept saying "mama go home, take nap" it was kinda sad. When we were almost down he decided he wanted to walk and was quite pleasant at that point. When we finished the hike my legs were shaking, my nerves were shot, and I was starving. It was a beautiful day for a hike and I enjoyed it (for the most part). We stopped and had lunch and headed home. good fun but I will not be taking my kids hiking with me again for a while LOL ;)

Braden & Dakota

I love these pictures. They are Dakota's newborns (she was 2 weeks old) and Braden's 2 years (he was 2 weeks shy of his 2nd birthday). I thought they turned out super cute!!! It's crazy that my baby is a month old already and my little boy will be 2 on the 4th...where does the time go? Next up will be family pictures, as soon as I lose my baby weight :)

Fun at the Pool

The second week home, my stepmom came to help me out. My stepsis Lexie and stepbro Makade came too. One of the days we decided to go to the new pool in Castle Dale. I wasn't sure how I would feel but it ended up being a great out and Braden had a blast.

The picture of Braden on the floor cracks me up...Dakota had woke up and was wanting to eat. I hurried and went to the bathroom real fast and when I walked out there was Braden sound asleep on the floor infront of my bed LOL Ty got up and took him back to his bed and we both laughed the whole time. :) Too funny.

First week home.

The first week home was a little rough. My mom came down to help me...thank goodness!!!! She did all the cleaning and stuff along with entertaining Braden. He loved having his Uncle Jaxson to play with, they fought a bunch too but that happens when you have 2 little boys so close in age ;) Anyway, I had been having trouble with nausea and I would be fine and then all of the sudden get pale and freezing cold and start puking. It was SO painful because of my incision. And Braden accidently clocked me in the belly a few times which didn't help. But after a rough week I am feeling much better and between Ty and my Mom I had tonz of help. Ty was great too, always willing to do anything I asked...which included getting up in the night with Braden 4-5 times every night because while he loves his baby sister he hasn't been sleeping AT ALL! Ty is exhausted every morning but doesn't complain when it's time to get up with our big boy :) whatta a guy.

She's Here!!!

Dakota Brook Noyes is finally here. Born June 30th at 7:55 p.m. I had a repeat c-section which was pushed back from 6:30 to 7:30, which wouldn't of been too big of a deal but I couldn't eat because of the surgery and hadn't eaten since dinner the night before...UGH! But everything went good. She was 7 lbs 5 oz. and 20 inches long. She looks TONZ like her big brother and daddy :) I'm so glad she's here and I'm feeling better everyday. Braden loves his baby sister, he calls her Kota :) Enjoy the pics.

37 1/2 weeks

Even though I feel like I look ginormous...here is a preggo picture of me at 37 & 1/2 weeks pregnant. And we got maternity pictures done again (of course :)) so here is a little peak at those. I think they turned out super cute and can't wait to get the baby's newborns and Braden's 2 years done. As of right now I have just less than 9 days left and time has stopped moving LOL I can't wait for our baby girl to come :)

Carnival in Springville

We wanted to do something as a family before the baby gets here so we decided to head to Springville and spend the day at the carnival with our friends Jake and Danielle and their fam. We had a lot of fun, even though it rained really hard while we were eating lunch. Braden had a blast with the rides and playing with the other kids. We tried to stay and watch the fireworks too but by that time it was late and I was pretty spent...so we headed home around 9 o'clock. We had a great time....thanks Jake, Danielle, Shannon, Tom, and Jaret.

My new niece was born on June 2nd. She is the sweetest little thing and her big brother loves her to pieces. I tried to soak her up as much as I could before they moved to Georgia, which is where they are now :( I miss them tonz and am counting down the days til I get to see them again. Love you guys!!

Almost there!

So no pics this time but I will post a belly picture soon. I have 17 days to go and can't wait!!! First off, I am SO done being pregnant. The second time around has definitely been harder for me. And after holding and loving my new niece little miss Lucy Jessica Gardner I am beyond ready to see my baby girl. I have an appointment tomorrow and my Dr. will check me (not that it will make much of a difference) and part of me is hoping to go early and part of me isn't because my Mom is going to Georgia to help my sis get settled and won't be here if I do. Either way the most I have is 2 1/2 weeks...I'm hoping to make it through the hot weather LOL Wish me luck :)

And small update on my growing little boy...he is almost 2 and has hit the terrible 2s LOL He is talking more and more everyday and has finally adjusted pretty good to his big boy bed. We got maternity pictures done and he was so good. We got some good shots with him kissing and hugging my belly. He LOVES his Daddy and considers him to be his personal jungle gym LOL His face always lights up when Ty gets home from work...it is SOOO sweet. I think he will be a great big brother since he seems to love Lucy and is protective of her and a little territorial too. I think his little sis will be well looked after :)

32 weeks belly

With 7 weeks to go until my c-section, I'm feeling huge and ready to have the baby LOL Overall I feel good, I just keep getting more and more tired everyday. Some days I swear all I do is get ready for the day and I feel like I have no more energy left. But it is a busy few weeks ahead so I'm hoping the time goes fast. My brother-in-law will be home shortly from Virginia and then my sister and him will be getting sealed in the temple, having their baby, and so on. Here I come June 30th!!

Painting the kids' rooms

So I painted Braden's new room and LOVED it. It still needs the crown molding up, curtains, and a few wall hangings but it turned out super cute. We moved him over and put him in a big boy bed. Some nights are rough but he seems to be adjusting pretty quick. Then I repainted his old room, the baby's room. I had a really hard time deciding on the pink and when it's on the wall it's super bright, as you can see. The trim still needs to be painted and put up on the wall but I'm still not sure if I'm going to leave it super pink LOL I'm just gettin too far along for lots of painting. Let me know what you think...

These pictures were taken by my sis-in-law Cassi in her backyard. I took them and made a cute little scrapbooked picture for Ty for Valentine's Day to put on his desk at work. He only has old pictures of us, his latest photo of Braden is like at 6 months LOL Anyway, I finally got them off my Camera and thought I would post them cause I think my little guy looks super cute all cowboyed up :) He's such a sweetie.

Speaking of my little guy...he is starting to talk so much. His favorite cartoon is Handy Manny, and he asks for "Manny" every morning. I call cartoons toonies and he says "noonies." He can say his last name, he can say Grandma too and he is starting to be able to identify all three sets of grandparents. He goes pee pee in the potty almost every night after bath time. We just got a portable DVD player for the car and he LOVES it...he says moomie...you know movie but with an "m" LOL too cute. He is so much fun and soooooooo busy. He is definitely half Hansen cause he NEVER stops, except at bedtime when he asks for milt (milk) and his blankie and will walk you to his crib so he can go to bed...what a good boy. I can't believe how big he is, it goes by too fast. Anyway, hope you enjoyed the update :)

Second Ultrasound

Well as you can see....it's still lookin' like a girl. So since both ultrasounds are showing girl, I am finally going to start buying and making girly stuff :) We have a name picked out and a backup so hopefully one of them fit her. Everything looks good and now I am just counting down the days....15 weeks left until I go into surgery (c-section) and she comes out. We are excited for her to get here!!

Well we had our ultrasound yesterday and.....IT'S A GIRL! probably LOL The doctor is saying 90% girl. The baby was all sorts of scrunched so it was hard to get a good picture. He said he would put money on a girl but he wants to double check in a month just to be sure. So for now...it's a girl.

Ty just said "oh boy" and I thought, noooo he said girl. And he shook his head and said oh boy, this is gonna be bad when she gets older! LOL I laughed and thought already thinkin of fightin off the boys and she's not even here yet. Anyway, if the next visit in March changes anything I will be sure to let everyone know. I will post a picture of the ultrasound as soon as I can, having computer troubles at the moment.

We went sledding with Ty's family in the field behind Chuck 'n Nyla's house. We pulled the kids behind four wheelers on sleds...and they loved it.
Today we (me and Braden) helped Ty work outside in his bull pens. Braden LOVES riding the tractor and helping his Daddy. It pooped him out and he took a second nap. I love spending time with my family, even doing regular old stuff :)

Oh and I forgot the mention the boo boo Braden got on New Years. Well he fell and hit his head on the corner of the cement in the Ogden Arena. The bullriding hadn't even started yet. I was in a panic because my baby was hurt and bleeding everywhere. Rose went and got Ty from behind the chutes. By the time he got to me, I had a crowd of people around me telling me what I should do about the cut. Well Ty showed up, said "he's fine" and wooshed him away. I, of course, was crying and shaking LOL (just a note I lose all medical brain when Braden gets hurt and switch straight to frantic mom brain). Well he finally stopped bleeding and it really wasn't that bad. His eye was a litte black and blue but it is healing nicely now. However, Ty missed flanking his first bull out because he was calming me down LOL Braden was fine not long after his daddy showed up. It was a great new years LOL Thank goodness for my calm husband...he seems to always save the day.

Christmas Morning

We had fun Christmas Morning. Braden was a little overwhelmed but excited. He loved opening the presents, he concentrated so hard LOL. We ate breakfast at Grandma and Grandpa's (Ty's parents) and opened presents with them too. Ty got me a remote start for my car and spent the majority of the day outside installing it....whata good hubby. :) I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas.

On Christmas Eve we went sledding and of course opened our Christmas jammies. We ate dinner at Ty's parents house and then looked at lights. We were supposed to watch a Christmas movie but we got home so late we all just went to bed. I always set out our stockings and put our presents by our stockings. Braden obviously had the most LOL me and Ty had two each is all...but it's more fun watching him :)

We spent a quick weekend in St. George for Lexie's baby shower and my niece Bella's baby blessing. If I look exhausted it's because I am. I had worked a graveyard Thursday night and then went to St. George Friday and didn't get there until about 11pm. Then I spent the day running around everywhere. We got up early Sunday for the blessing and then headed home because I was scheduled to work a grave Sunday night. Needless to say it was a rough weekend. But it was great to see my family in St. George.
A few of the pics are Braden in his snow suit getting ready to help Daddy outside while it was snowing. It cracks me up because he looks like a marshmallow LOL If he falls over he can't get back up. Too cute :)

Sorry for no posts since Halloween. First of all, I broke my camera right as we were leaving to trick or treat. Braden started running into the street and I paniced and ran after him and I had on SUPER high heeled boots. Well I grabbed him but I rolled my ankle and hit the ground really hard. My camera, which was around my wrist, hit the ground even harder and broke. I know, I'm a spaz, but what can ya do. I finally got a new camera last week but it's quite a bit fancier and I'm still learning how to use it. I will post some pictures when I get a chance.

We spent Thanksgiving at my Mom's house in South Jordan. It was fun but busy and tiring. It was great to have all my siblings together...yay. Since then things have been rough. I am still throwing up randomly, some days are good and others are AWEFUL. Braden has had the flu, croup, and now he has strep. The other night we ended up in the ER cause he had a temp of 105.1 and was screaming like crazy...scary. He also has been throwing up for 3 or 4 days. He won't take anything but milk and he throws it up. He ate a popsicle once and took ice chips once but that's it. Anyway, he is on antibiotics now and drinking soy milk and keeping it down and no more temperatures so I'm hoping he gets better cause my little ball of energy has become a sad litte blob in my arms and it's soooo sad.

For those who don't know, our new addition is expected to arrive July 6th, 2010. Bad timing for Ty as always since bullridings ALWAYS fall on holidays but he says he doesn't mind :) What a good hubby. Fall semester is almost over.....praise the lord. I am so burned out from all the craziness I don't think I can do one more assignment. Actually I think burned out is an understatement. Even though I work on Christmas day, I'm hoping to have a couple of weeks with a healthy little boy, no school, and QTWT (Quality time with Ty) LOL and Braden of course.

Halloween is my favorite holiday!!! We had so much fun. Thursday night we went to the Spooktacular at the college. Braden ran around everywhere with his sucker and cotton candy. He loved all the kids. He also won a prize in the costume contest :)

Friday night we went the Halloween bullriding in Spanish Fork. My mom and Dean and Jaxson came. It was fun too. We sat by our friends Danielle and Emily and the Greenhalgh's and visited and chased kids...which is always fun.

Saturday we went to the Main Street Spooktacular in the morning and entered the costume contest. We walked around and played games, rode the train, ate treats, and had lots of fun. When the kids started trick or treating in the stores Ty gave Braden his trick or treat bag. Braden says "bag" and started running after the kids and in and out of the stores to get candy. Later on we went trick or treating with Bryan and Cass in their neighborhood. Braden LOVED it. He would yap and yap at the people giving out candy. He especially like it when he could grab his own and put it in the bag. We then went to the museum with Jess, Mav, Deana, and Savannah. It was way cute. We made a few family stops and ended up at Papa Chuck & Grandma Nyla's house. It was a long day but so much fun. I was pooped and can't imagine how it's gonna be when we have more kids and they get older :) I hope everyone had a fun Halloween too!

We carved our pumpkins the other day and it was way fun. I love Halloween and can't wait for the festivities starting Thursday night...yay! I haven't actually put our pumpkins outside yet cause I'm afraid our dog Sherman will mess them up but I think tonight we might do it :) Happy Halloween everyone. The other night Braden's cousin Maverick wanted Ty to be a bull so he could ride him LOL. It was stinkin cute, forever he walked around saying "common bull" and then of course Braden got jealous cause his Daddy was playin with Mav and he got in on the action too. They had a blast. It starts with my maternity pictures, then his newborns, 6 month pictures, and then his 1 years. Little Menace

Braden had SOOO much fun swimming at Aunt Cassi's with his cousins. When the pool was filling up Braden and Hunter were squilling in excitement LOL. They got even more excited when we put them in the pool :) Rylee was so cute sharing with the boys. When they were done swimming I took Braden's swim diaper off and meant to put a dry one on but got visiting for a minute and Braden got back in the little pool and peed LOL Rylee said "oh it was only Hunter's pool" LOL too funny. Cool Memorial

So the other day I was told that there was a memorial up Crandall Canyon. I wanted to check it out so we made a quick trip up there. It was really pretty with the walkway up through the trees. Braden just liked being outside and loved all the rocks in the parking lot :) Not real exciting just something I thought was pretty neat.

Bad News

Well.....there's no easy way to start this but we lost the baby, we miscarried. Monday afternoon I started spotting, but nothing serious. I was way worried so I called the doctor and he wanted to see me Tuesday so he could check and see if everything was okay. Tuesday morning I started bleeding and cramping really bad. The cramps felt like labor pains pretty much. I knew it wasn't good. We went in and they did an ultrasound and obviously no heart beat. The doctor felt like it would hard and painful for me to pass where I was 9 weeks so he felt we should do a D&C. they walked us right over to same day surgery at Mountain View Hospital in Payson and got us right in. The procedure took about 30 minutes and about 2 hours in recovery. I'm tired and sore but we're doing okay. Sometimes I'm fine and other times I cry a lot but overall everything is good. I'm lucky to have an awesome husband who has been there the whole time and super supportive. And it also helps having a beautiful healthy little boy to come home to. The good news is the doctor says that in 3-6 weeks, which is when I should have a normal period, we can go ahead and try to get pregnant again. That helped a little bit...and thanks to my fam for being there for us you guys are awesome.

The main photo of us and these pictures are the latest of the hansen and white family photos. We had them done super quick Friday evening by Janis (my Boss/friend's sis-in-law). We were in a super big hurry because of conflicting schedules and the wedding was the next day so she got us done quick and did an awesome job. I LOVE our family picture of me, Ty, and Braden, it's exactly what I wanted. Tammi has 5 kids so our family is now ginormous. the couple you may not recognize is Jeff and Lexie, Tammi's oldest kid with her husband. We have a good time together.

Their wedding, my Dad and Tammi, was way fun. We did a choreographed dance down the aisle and it turned out way cute. While taking pictures my dad grabbed Tammi and jumped into their pool...I told him he should've asked first cause if you look closely her expression looks surprised and pissed LOL She took it great but a little bit of a risk don't ya thinkg :) Well they are on their honeymoon now and my Pops is actually remarried WOW crazy crazy. We had Braden's 1st Birthday party in our new backyard...even though it's not quite finished. It was so nice having our families there. Braden, other than being tired because he didn't have a good nap, had fun with his cousins and loved his presents. We got him the little red car becaused he loves steering wheels and the little zebra riding toy because he loves to jump. He got tons of great gifts and it was way fun...Thank you everyone for coming!

Pregnant...SURPRISE!

Yep it's true...we are pregnant! And yes we did it on purpose. Although I'm only 6 weeks I figured why not tell everyone because I'm already getting sickly and so everyone will know anyway. I am due about March 29, 2010 and Braden and the baby will be about 20 months apart...PERFECT! We decided to try because Maverick and Braden are 22 months apart and it seems like the perfect distance. They have so much fun together so we went for it...and yet again we were surprised (I'm not sure why) at how quickly it happened. Ty made the comment "maybe I should be more careful after this or we will probably have like 5 kids!" LOL I'm excited but I can honestly say I didn't think I would be pregnant before Braden turned 1 and here I am prego and he turns 1 on Tuesday. Crazy you ask?...I'm not sure yet but I will keep every posted, even so we are excited :) YAY for baby noyes #2.

So this last Saturday we were at the East Carbon Rodeo, cause of course Ty took bulls. Well the one half around the arena is a hill where people park and watch the rodeo from their trucks. Ty's sister invited us to sit with her so me and Braden went up with the stroller. I was standing about 2-3 feet away from the truck putting Braden in the stroller so he could eat his bottle and go to sleep (it was past his bedtime) and all the sudden the stroller jerked. I looked up and an SUV had backed into us. Then before I could do anything he reved up and hit us again. This time I had to grab the stroller and dig my feet into the dirt so that we didn't go tumbling down the hill. I was LIVID. I started screaming and swearing like a sailor. I was shaking all over and super upset. The kid turned around in the vehicle and my sister-in-law went over and started yelling at him and he says "ya I know, sorry" and drove off. He looked stoned. After he left I started crying because I was so upset. Braden is okay cause he hit the BACK of the stroller not the front but it was risky and could've been worse! Very uncool experience, guess it just goes to show you can never be too careful.

We went to Lagoon with ty's family for the weekend and had a blast. We stayed in the campground, which was so nice with the kids, and rompeda around all day in the park. We brought Mav and he was an absolute blast. My favorite parts of the weekend were Braden in the cars...he loved them and cried every time we took him out. And Mav on the bumper cars LOL he would just spin in a circle until someone hit him and I would tell him to turn the wheel and he would spin the other direction. I laughed so hard. When he got off he runs over and says "Tiff I don't know what happened, I never drive before!" What a stud!

So today at Walmart I was done shopping and decided to organize my coupons before checking out. I needed to cut a few and the only scissors I had on hand were my ambulance scissors that can cut through moto-X boots and pennies, etc. anyway my son is super grabby and reached while I was cutting and I went ahead and cut a chunk off the tip of his thumb without even realizing it. I couldn't get it to stop bleeding and quickly became flustered. Blood was all over him, me, and the paper towels. Thankfully Cass was there and helped me out. We tried some blood stop and it didn't work either. So we went over to the ambulance garage so it could be wrapped. it is the saddest thing EVER and I feel TERRIBLE. He is pretty pooped from the whole experience and sleeping pretty good! Note to everyone....cut the coupons before you go to the store!
